Our approachRecovery Support · West London
The Shiftpoint offers calm, non-residential recovery support for alcohol, cocaine, crack, opiates, cannabis, tobacco and ketamine — structured around you, without an expensive residential stay.
If you or someone you're concerned about is in immediate danger, please call 999 or go to A&E.
Our Approach
The Shiftpoint was set up around a simple idea: that a real, lasting shift in how you live doesn't always require weeks away in residential rehab. For many people, focused, structured sessions close to home are a more realistic and accessible way to make that shift happen.
Every client starts with an honest conversation about their circumstances and substance use, so we can talk through what a realistic plan looks like — including being clear with you when residential or medical treatment is the safer or more appropriate route.
Sessions combine calm, structured support with practical, non-judgemental guidance, in a private, unhurried setting in West London.
The Shiftpoint provides complementary recovery support. We are not a medical detox facility. If you have a significant physical dependency — particularly on alcohol or opiates — sudden withdrawal can be medically dangerous, and we strongly recommend involving your GP or a medical detox service alongside your sessions with us.
Treatments
Every plan is personalised to you and the substance involved. Get in touch to talk through what's going on — there's no judgement, and no assumption about how "bad" it needs to be before reaching out is worthwhile.
From daily drinking to binge patterns — support to cut down or stop, at your pace.
Structured sessions to help break the cycle of use and manage cravings.
Support alongside medical guidance for heroin, opioid substitutes and painkillers.
For daily or heavy use that's become harder to step back from than expected.
Practical support to stop smoking or vaping for good.
Support for recreational or dependent use, including physical health check-ins.
You're not on your own with this
There's no need to keep struggling on your own. We support people across the whole spectrum — from a bottle of wine most evenings that's quietly become a habit, to more serious opiate use. Sessions are calm, structured and considerate, built around honest support rather than empty promises.
Real support. No judgement.
Our treatment method works by using three scientific principles: Every substance has a specific 'energy signature' (Hz & kHz), opposing frequencies neutralise and cancel each other out, and health can be improved with beneficial input frequencies.
We use precise frequency programs which 'counteract craving' by neutralising the effects of a substance. Cancellation occurs when two waves of the same wavelength cancel each other out (A+B) — an effect also widely used by sound engineers to cancel unwanted background noise.
Clients simply sit back and relax during the safe and painless treatment process, which takes two, three or four hours. After each session, the physical dependency is reduced to new lower levels until down to zero.
The body responds to beneficial input frequencies which can help improve physical and mental health. When the physical urge or craving is gone or greatly diminished, it is much easier to stop drinking, break the habit, and regain control.
The Shiftpoint is a complementary recovery support service, not a substitute for medical treatment. Individual results vary, and full commitment from you is essential to getting the most from your sessions.
Testimonials
"It's been over a month now and I haven't had any real urge to drink. I'm sleeping properly again for the first time in years — I honestly haven't felt this well in a long time."
"I'd been struggling for years and didn't think anything would make a real difference. Things feel different now — my family life is better and I feel like myself again. I honestly can't thank them enough."
"I don't think I could have done this on my own, especially going through everything else I had going on at the time. Thank you for giving me a way back to feeling like myself."
Individual experiences vary. Testimonials reflect personal accounts and are not a guarantee of results for any particular person or substance.
Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the substance and how long you've been using — sessions typically run a few hours per day over a small number of days. We'll talk through realistic timing with you before you commit to anything.
Not necessarily — for some people it's a first step, for others it's an alternative to a residential stay, and for some with heavier dependency (particularly alcohol or opiates) it works best alongside medical support. We'll always be honest with you about which fits your situation.
No — and we'd be cautious of anyone who tells you otherwise. Recovery is ongoing, and what we offer is structured support to help you make a change, not a guaranteed or permanent fix on its own.
Yes. Everything you share with us is treated in confidence, and sessions take place in a private, unhurried setting.
Not always — stopping alcohol or opiates abruptly after heavy or long-term use can be medically dangerous. We'll ask about this honestly in your first conversation, and may recommend involving your GP or a medical detox service alongside your sessions.
No. Every person's situation is different, and we can't promise a specific outcome. What we can promise is a structured, honest, non-judgemental service.
